Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed respiratory care to trauma and critically ill patients, following physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Manage and monitor mechanically ventilated patients, including ventilator checks, adjustments, and weaning as appropriate.
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis to guide therapy decisions; troubleshoot gas exchange concerns.
- Administer inhaled medications and therapies (nebulized treatments, bronchodilators, and related therapies) as ordered.
- Assess respiratory status, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team; participate in care rounds and treatment plan updates.
- Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-acuity patient care.

Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with 2+ years of experience
- High-volume trauma experience
- End of Week (EOW) scheduling requirement
- Ability to work the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift (nights)
- Capability to work in a hospital setting and participate as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team
