Crew Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily crew operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalism
• Perform expert tree climbing for pruning, removals, and specialty services
• Safely operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment
• Assess tree health, stability, and identify potential hazards
• Apply proper pruning techniques to promote tree health and appearance
• Execute safe and efficient tree and limb removals
• Coordinate with ground crew for effective debris handling and site cleanup
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites
• Communicate with clients and provide professional tree care recommendations
• Oversee proper use and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
• Enforce safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and company policies
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removals
• 2+ years of leadership experience in tree care or landscaping crews
• Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and safety practices
• Ability to operate and maintain tree care and landscaping equipment
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
• ISA Certification preferred but not required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
