RN Unit Manager – URGENT HIRING

Leadership Role in Skilled Nursing Garden Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Location: Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

Position Type: Full-Time

Garden Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center urgently needs an experienced, clinically strong RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit RIGHT NOW. This essential leadership role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and clinical oversight to support our residents and team during this critical staffing challenge.

As RN Unit Manager, you will oversee daily unit operations, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, lead care planning, and foster a resident-centered environment focused on dignity, accountability, and clinical excellence.

RN Unit Manager Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) on the assigned unit

• Coordinate and monitor delivery of nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and best practices

• Manage admissions, transfers, discharges, and care transitions efficiently

• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and full compliance with facility policies, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and federal regulations

• Participate in and lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection control initiatives

• Monitor residents for signs of infection, deterioration, or complications; communicate changes promptly to physicians, NPs, and the interdisciplinary team

RN Unit Manager Care Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapy, social services, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members

• Lead resident care plan meetings and contribute to holistic, outcome-focused planning

• Serve as a key clinical resource for complex cases and unit operations

• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture rooted in accountability, respect, and resident dignity

RN Unit Manager Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (required)

• Prior experience in a Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or similar leadership role in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation strongly preferred

• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced, resident-focused setting

RN Unit Manager Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and physically assist residents as needed

• Work in a clinical skilled nursing environment with exposure to infectious materials and standard patient care settings
