Thar Energy, LLC is part of the broader Thar organization founded in 1990. Thar organization has been a global leader in the use of green, all natural, supercritical fluid processing for the energy, pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
Thar Energy has an immediate opening for an experienced Instrumentation-Mechanical Technician to join its team responsible for instrumentation selection and installation and operation and maintenance of small-scale industrial process plants and equipment.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assemble/disassemble and clean plant equipment, piping and instruments
- Operate and manage (troubleshoot) pumps, heat exchangers, valves, instrument control systems
- Investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems
- Ensure that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
- Liaise with installation/project engineers and specialists
- Order and maintain lab and pilot supplies inventory
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
Requirements include:
- Experience with pressure transmitters, flow meters, pumps, VFDs
- Experience with piping and equipment/instruments installation
- Formal education not necessary, but associates in any related field helps
- Good communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in team environments
