Business Analyst
Job Overview
A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a leading Oklahoma-based HVAC contractor with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA . We are a well-established company known for our expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, from central air units to indoor air quality systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing our business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and support our continued growth. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $28 - $42 USD per hour . Responsibilities * Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.* Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitor research to support strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and financial models to track performance and communicate insights to the leadership team.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications for new systems or process enhancements.
* Support the planning and implementation of new projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on time.
* Create comprehensive documentation, including process flow diagrams and user guides.
* Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and solutions. Qualifications * Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* A solid understanding of business process modelling and requirements gathering techniques.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Experience within the HVAC, construction, or a related service industry would be a significant advantage.
