About the Role:
Alcoa is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Services Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and operational performance of our global enterprise infrastructure platforms. This senior leadership role is accountable for building and operating a secure, resilient, scalable, and cost‑effective infrastructure foundation that enables Alcoa’s business priorities, digital transformation, and evolution toward the factory of the future .
As a key member of the extended ITAS leadership team, you will shape and execute a unified global infrastructure strategy across Core Compute, Enterprise Hosting, Client & Endpoint Services, and Global Telecommunications , ensuring technology services reliably support manufacturing, corporate, and remote workforce needs worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute Alcoa’s global enterprise infrastructure strategy , aligning platforms, roadmaps, and investments to business priorities and future manufacturing needs.
- Own the availability, resiliency, security, and performance of enterprise infrastructure services supporting manufacturing, corporate, and remote users globally.
- Lead lifecycle management and modernization of Core Compute, Enterprise Hosting, Client & Endpoint Services, and Global Telecommunications platforms.
- Ensure operational excellence , including incident response, problem management, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery readiness, and SLA performance.
- Provide governance and risk oversight across infrastructure domains, ensuring compliance with enterprise security, architecture, and service management standards.
- Manage financials, capacity planning, and vendor performance , ensuring cost‑effective service delivery and value realization.
- Lead and develop global infrastructure teams , including workforce planning, capability development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Partner with business, security, architecture, and IT leaders to enable transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What you can bring to this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure technology leadership, including 5+ years owning strategy, roadmaps, budgets, and staffing.
- Proven track record leading enterprise infrastructure transformation and modernization using product‑ and platform‑based operating models.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets, financial processes, and vendor spend.
- Experience leading large, complex technology programs using project, program, and agile methodologies, with consistent on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
- Broad technical expertise across operating systems, virtualization, databases, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), automation, and networking.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive and business audiences.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills in global, matrixed environments, with flexibility to support distributed teams.
