Salary: $19-$34/Hour

Clearfield Metal Technologies is a Powder Metal Company in Clearfield, PA. Over the last 12 years CMT has continued to grow at a rapid rate, all the while maintaining a family oriented work culture! Over the last 2 years we have added more presses (including an 825t), furnaces, departments, and a 20,000 sq/ft addition. We are looking for qualified and experienced die setters that want to push themselves to be the best in the industry. Full time position

2nd Shift:

3pm-11pm

Monday - Friday

Shift Differential: $0.50/hr

Pay rate is dependent on class level (A,B,C)

Job Duties:

• Set up molding equipment including but not limited to:
  

• • Putting tooling and die in presses
  • Setting up part per control plan instructions
  • Performing 1st piece inspections
  • Preparing press for operators run
  • Work with engineering on potential process improvements
  • Work with engineering on tooling changes / tooling reworks
  • Handling / placing product on appropriate skids / trays as described in control plans
  • Visually inspect parts for defects (excessive burrs, chips, etc)
  • Stop equipment immediately in the event that non-conforming product is being produced
  • Notify supervisor of any problems
  • Complete appropriate hold tags as necessary
  • Place product in hold area if necessary
  • Complete daily production reports as required

Requirements:

• Responsible for own quality and ability to follow process control plans
• Responsible for house cleaning and keeping area neat and clean
  
• Perform length and weight adjustments on any standard action (and multi action press for class A or B)
• Basic understanding and function of standard action (and multi action press for class A or B)
  
• Proficient in blueprint reading
