Global Acoustic AIM Engineer
Join us as a Global Acoustic Intensity Monitoring (AIM) Engineer, where you’ll drive the global standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement of acoustic testing for our ultrasound products. In this role, you will ensure our manufacturing sites worldwide meet the highest quality and regulatory standards to deliver safe, effective, and reliable devices to customers.
Your role:
Lead the global AIM process, ensuring consistent standards, documentation, and testing practices across all manufacturing locations.
Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to integrate AIM requirements into product industrialization and new product introductions.
Oversee AIM‑related documentation, specifications, instructions, and reporting to maintain full traceability and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate global AIM meetings to align stakeholders, share best practices, and resolve product‑related acoustic testing issues.
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities, including standardization and digitalization initiatives supporting Industry 4.0.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in acoustics, manufacturing/operations, engineering, systems engineering, production engineering, or related fields.
Your skills include acoustic output analysis, signal processing, data acquisition, acoustic modeling/simulation, equipment installation, and understanding of FDA, IEC, and AIUM/NEMA standards.
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
You’re an effective communicator who collaborates well across regions and functions, and you’re comfortable working in global, cross‑functional environments; occasional travel may be required based on project needs.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office-based role.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $95,250 to $127,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville, PA .
