Job Description:

OBJECTIVES OF ENGAGEMENT:

• The primary objectives of this engagement are to provide business analysis, data analysis, reporting services, and miscellaneous onsite IT support to BOL staff.

• To achieve these goals, the selected candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

• Familiarity with laboratory practices (clinical and/or public health laboratory).

• Familiarity with standardized nomenclatures (LOINC, SNOMED, etc.) used in communicating test orders and results electronically.

• Experience in troubleshooting issues in a rapidly changing environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio.

• Ability to analyze business needs and formalize as system requirements.

• Ability to work as team member and leader.

• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Data analysis utilizing tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Power BI. 5 years

• Business and process analysis and formalizing system requirements. 3 years

Desired Skills:

• Healthcare industry (focus on health information technology) experience

• State, Federal, and Local government experience

Nice To Have Skills:

• Bachelors degree with a major in a relevant field

• Laboratory experience
