Landscape Sales Leader

We offer a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Landscape Sales Leader to join our team. This role involves generating leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing sales for our range of landscape services.

Responsibilities

● Manage the sales process , including lead qualification, client meetings, sales, estimating, and customer presentations

● Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide recommendations for landscape design, installation, and maintenance. 

● Collaborate with our Landscape Designer to assist with the implementation of the design process

● Sell and estimate landscape services including plantings, hardscape and maintenance. 

● Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets

● Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction

● Acquire new business through referral prospecting, community involvement, industry-related events, personal and professional affiliations, direct mail campaigns, and social media. 

● Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

● Minimum 5-7 years (10+ years preferred) of high-end residential landscape sales and estimating experience

● Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Contracting, or a related industry; strong preference given to Certified Landscape Professionals

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

● Proven history of meeting and/or exceeding annual landscape sales goals

● Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, plants, materials, and construction techniques

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

● Experience working directly with residential landscaping clients and coordinating landscape installations

● Knowledge of landscape construction products, methods, and procedures, as well as familiarity with horticultural materials and planting techniques

● Experience designing scaled landscape plans and contracts 

● Ability to calculate labor costs and material requirements and quantities

● Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office programs and Google Business Suite products a must. Landscape industry-specific design, CRM and Estimating software experience required

● Valid driver's license

Compensation

● Competitive base salary $48,000 – $52,000 

● Generous commission on all sales
