Cashier

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and quality standards. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and register operations. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and serving areas. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining high-quality service. Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with basic food preparation when needed to ensure smooth café operations. Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee experience is highly preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus! Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and lift light supplies as needed.
