We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with creativity, organizational skills, client relations, significant copywriting experience, and a proven track record of managing social media accounts, including up-to-the-minute knowledge of social media best practices, content collection, and editing.

This is an integral role for our Erie office, working closely with our local team to manage Erie-based projects and content creation. While this position is based in Erie, PA, collaboration with colleagues across the agency and clients in other regions will also be part of the role.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable multitasking and balancing competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Critical thinker who can assist with developing and implementing communications plans and social media calendars
  • Skilled at remaining organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in an office environment
  • Strong capacity to work collaboratively and contribute to a creative team
  • Experience creating and posting content to social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Up-to-the-minute knowledge of social media best practices
  • Graphic, web design, and video editing experience a plus
  • Agency or corporate background preferred

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work as part of a collaborative team on large-scale communications plans, projects, and initiatives
  • Strategize, craft, and execute social media campaigns for clients; conceptualize and create content and draft top copy/captions
  • Maintain and implement social media calendars, ensuring content is aligned with strategy and deadlines
  • Assist in management of client accounts with other members of the kate & co. team
  • Participate in client meetings and strategy discussions as needed
  • Research and monitor the latest news and media reports relevant to clients and firm
  • Manage day-to-day creation, scheduling, and posting of client digital and social campaigns
  • Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter
  • Monitor social channels and manage community engagement
  • Analyze social media performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Oversee production of client assets; work with designers on content creation, manage client edits, develop and meet deadlines
  • Provide on-the-ground event support and capture content at client meetings, events, and conferences
  • Extensive travel to client meetings, events, and conferences
