HW V&V Lead
If you want to work on real problems in autonomous transportation, this is a solid early-career move. You'll step into a leadership role at a company actually shipping autonomous truck and robotaxi technology, not just talking about it. You'll own the hardware verification and validation function as Waabi scales—the kind of responsibility that builds your resume fast.
Your job is to build out the V&V capability that keeps hardware reliable. You'll lead a team through comprehensive functional testing, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting on prototypes. You'll also set standards and processes that meet internal and OEM requirements. This means hands-on technical work plus real management experience.
This role fits you if you have a strong engineering foundation—electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering background—and you're comfortable learning on the job. You need to think systematically about test plans and quality, and you should be ready to lead peers or junior engineers. A portfolio of test work, internships in validation, or demonstrated project ownership helps.
