Compensation: $67 to $77 per Hour, plus overtime

Job Overview

Our client, a growing commercial and industrial solar company based in Texas, is looking to bring on a number of exceptional Journeyman Electricians with utility-scale solar experience to support a number projects in the region. This role is a full-time position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Travelling to project sites in Central Pennsylvania.
• Installing and calibrating single-axis tracker systems, including drive motors, controllers, torque tubes, and dampeners
• Installing, terminating, and managing large-gauge DC feeder cables, combiner boxes, and fuses.
• Supporting the installation and connection of MV transformers, switchgear, and substations
• Overseeing and/or executing underground conduit placement, cable pulling, and managing open-air cable trays
• Leading and directing electrical apprentices to ensure work meets NEC codes and project specifications.
• Performing string testing and commissioning
• Interpreting civil blueprints, structural layouts, three-line electrical diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
• Maintaining strict compliance with OSHA, NFPA , and LOTO procedures for high-energy environments.
• Ensuring all installations conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• An electrical license is preferred
• At least 5 years of AC utility-scale and/or commercial solar installation experience
• Extensive knowledge of IRC, IFC, and NEC
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Communication, collaboration, and detail-orientation skills
