Responsibilities
- Triage and initial assessment of ED patients to determine priority and initiate care
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and injections per physician orders
- Monitor patient status with cardiac monitors, telemetry, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, PAs, nurses, and support staff; assist with procedures as needed
- Provide patient and family education; assist with discharge planning and referrals
- Maintain infection control standards, safety protocols, and rapid response during emergencies

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state-specific onboarding requirements apply)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association); ACLS as required by ER standards
- Recent ER or acute-care experience preferred
- Ability to work a 16-hour night shift; strong critical thinking and clear communication
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and fast-paced ED workflow
