As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Easton, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.86 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, manage visitor check-in processes, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support access control, badge distribution, and other administrative front desk duties related to daily location operations.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and unusual events in required logs and reports, and communicate important updates with Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
