Locums Pediatric Nephrology | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania(Epic EMR | Scheduled Clinic + Call | Minimum 12 Weeks/Month) Position OverviewSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Philadelphia, PA. This opportunity combines clinic hours and on-call responsibilities at a major hospital using Epic EMR.Start Date: December 26, 2025End Date: January 3, 2026Commitment: Minimum 1 week/month (preferably 2) Schedule & Coverage
- Covergae Needed: December 26 through January 3
- Clinic Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Call Type: Beeper call
- Call Response Time: 15 minutes
- Call Schedule: Begins Monday 7:00 AM ? Ends following Monday 7:00 AM
- Workload: ~70% inpatient / 30% outpatient
- Outpatients per Day: Minimum 5 during clinic days
- Beds: 189 hospital beds / 5 outpatient beds
- Patients per Shift: Varies inpatient; 7 outpatient average
- Admissions: Required
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified / Board Eligible: Required (Pediatric Nephrology)
- Active PA License: Required
- Certification: PALS required
- EEG Reads: Required
- Hemodialysis: Required
- Percutaneous Renal Biopsy: Preferred
- Peritoneal Dialysis (acute/chronic): Preferred
- Needle Biopsy of the Kidney: Preferred
