American Leak Detection is actively hiring Leak Detection Specialists, one of the most interesting and satisfying jobs in the contracting business.

As an American Leak Detection Leak Specialist, you will locate water leaks and solve water infiltration issues in residential and commercial properties. You will be trained to use highly advanced equipment and each job will be challenging and different. We work with clients throughout Southeastern PA and are based out of Lititz, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Listen to the customer, explore the property, test and diagnose potential leak sources, follow techniques and reporting protocols developed by ALD
• Learn how to create professionally written reports to effectively describe the leak issue
• Extend courtesy and thoughtfulness to all customers - we are there to reduce their stress, answer their questions, and solve their problems!
• Clearly communicate job arrival, departure, delays, and other critical updates with office staff, and Technician Manager

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (good DMV report)
• Be self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently
• Good writing & verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Must be comfortable with diving swimming pools and/or hot tubs.
• Must be capable of moving or lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Experience with tools.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Familiarity with water leak detection, plumbing, construction, swimming pools, slab work, and related experience.
• 2-3 years' experience in pool-related or plumbing related fields

Some physical abilities are required to perform this job including; the ability to drive; must be able to assemble, and operate equipment; must be able to lift up to 100 pounds; access roofs, crawl spaces, and other hard-to-reach areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000-45,000 Base Salary PLUS Commission per year with bonus opportunities. Salary based on experience and could be higher depending on qualifications.
