We are looking for an experienced Project Architects to join our firm. Our ideal candidate is a talented, licensed architect and designer who is well-organized, creative, an excellent communicator, and interested in designing in multiple market sectors. Daily responsibilities include leading a design team within the office as well as coordinating with outside consultants and project stakeholders. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Architect role located in Bethlehem, Allentown, or Scranton, PA. The Architect will be responsible for designing and planning innovative architectural solutions, managing projects from concept through completion, and ensuring integration of design and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and consultants.
• Manage multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination.
• Manage communications between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Review and contribute to proposals by working with internal peers to prepare presentation materials, statements of qualifications, building consultant teams, and participating in interviews.
• Lead presentations of design ideas, concepts, and milestone reports to clients.
• Take responsibility for the technical design process and deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for assigned projects. Ensure that all design elements are coordinated, in compliance with building codes and regulations, and aligned with the overall project vision.
• Conduct on-site observations by attending construction meetings and site visits. Review submittals and respond to RFIs and substitution requests during the construction administration phase.
• Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
• Mentor team members and assist in project detailing and construction.
• Guide and mentor less experienced designers in all aspects of professional development.
• Work closely with firm leadership to manage overall project delivery and administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant architectural experience with a portfolio demonstrating project work with exposure to all phases of a project, and involvement in complex projects or design solutions.
• Architectural Registration for the state of Pennsylvania required
• Expertise in Revit required, and comfortability with Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a demonstrated ability to create innovative, functional, and visually appealing designs
• Experience in Project Management, including managing schedules, resources, and client communication
• Knowledge of Software Development and Integration as they pertain to architectural processes and tools
• Strong attention to detail, effective collaboration skills, and a thorough understanding of architectural principles
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Licensure as a professional architect or progress toward licensure is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field
• Experience in sustainable design and LEED accreditation is a plus
