Assistant Controller

Location: 2865 Railroad Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 - work schedule : 4 days in the office ( Mon - Thu ) and Friday from home

Assistant Controller :

- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple entities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data gathering and analysis
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Assist with preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for the annual audit
- Work collaboratively with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting questions
- Provide support to the Corporate Controller and accounting team as needed

Requirements :

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Several years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment ( no recent college graduates )
- Strong MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting concepts
- Experience with ERP systems (Yardi experience is a plus)
