Distribution Operations DER Engineer III Location: Allentown, United States Start Date: 18 March 2026 Pay Rate: $67 Per Hour Job Description: As a Distribution Operations DER Engineer III, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of distributed energy resources (DER) within the distribution network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of DER technologies and systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for DER deployment and operation Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for DER projects Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Analyze performance data and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency Provide technical expertise and support for DER troubleshooting and maintenance Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution operations or DER management Strong understanding of grid modernization technologies and trends Proficiency in DER modeling and simulation software Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
