Job Description

This position is entirely outdoors, requiring candidates to be comfortable working in various weather conditions. The work environment is a lumber yard, akin to that of a construction worker, roofer, or landscaper. Candidates should be prepared for hot summers and cold winters, as work continues even with snow on the ground. Proper attire for all weather conditions is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift to pick materials such as wood flooring, wood decking materials, and some PVC trimming.
• Work off of a pick sheet to pick parts and prepare loads on a flatbed truck.
• Move materials, including wood decking materials up to 20 feet long.
• Shovel and plow the yard as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Experience in material handling, picking, and loading.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• General labor experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorkana, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr.
