What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Generating new business and interest through account-based prospecting programs, including targeted email and calling campaigns.
  • Following up on prospect inquiries about Ansys software products, qualifying leads using sales and technical expertise, and facilitating meetings, appointments, and demos.
  • Collaborating effectively across Marketing, Sales, Channel, and Product teams to support achievement of sales targets.
  • Researching, identifying, and creating new market opportunities through engagement with prospect accounts.
  • Developing account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities by engaging current accounts and utilizing insight tools to expand awareness, education, and referral networks.
  • Ensuring data integrity and consistency in Salesforce CRM by updating lead/contact information and account intelligence to provide visibility to market opportunities in assigned territory.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after completion of the internship.
  • Demonstrated drive to win and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build trust and meaningful connections.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to leverage social media platforms.
  • Preferred: Ability to assess business opportunities based on predetermined criteria to align with sales strategies.
  • Preferred: Understanding of industry issues and ability to apply software value statements in customer engagements.
  • Preferred: Ability to engage prospective customers through open probes and creation of value statements.

Key Program Facts:

  • Program Length: 40 hours per week, paid internship running from May 2026 to August 2026.
  • Location: Local office (specific location to be provided).
  • Working Model: Hybrid working model (details provided upon offer).
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time internship.
  • Start Date: May 2025.
