Job Overview:
We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and highly driven Social Media Manager to oversee and grow our social media presence across all major platforms. The ideal candidate has experience managing branded accounts, creating video and visual content, running successful campaigns, and engaging online communities. This role also includes traveling to events to capture original content on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Plan, develop, and execute monthly content calendars for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter
- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and engagement
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to increase engagement and growth
Content Creation & Campaigns
- Produce and edit high-quality videos and photos for reels, stories, and promotional use
- Develop engaging campaigns that support ticket sales, sponsorships, and brand awareness
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and visual style
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, DMs, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Monitor trends and participate in viral conversations when relevant
- Work with influencers, partners, and vendors to amplify reach
On-Site Event Coverage
- Travel to events across the country to capture video, photos, and live social content
- Interview vendors, attendees, and performers to create engaging behind-the-scenes content
- Maintain a dynamic presence across stories and live posts during events
Brand & Visual Identity
- Uphold brand voice and tone across all platforms
- Ensure visual content is consistent with branding guidelines
- Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar to create visually compelling content
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
- Proven track record of growing and managing branded social channels
- Proficient in video/photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, Canva, CapCut)
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and analytics
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for weekend events
- Self-starter with exceptional creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in food, event or festival marketing
- On-camera presence or comfort, capturing live interviews
- Drone or GoPro experience
- Influencer outreach or UGC management background
