Chipton-Ross is seeking n Electrical Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in King of Prussia, PA.

- One of the following combined experience and degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college:
Cable Design Circuit Design1 Test Equiment Design Communication Skills- 6+ Years Strong Leadership Skills- 6+ Years Analysis and Synthesis Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Hardware Integration- 6+ Years Requirements Development- 6+ Years Systems Analysis & Design Skills- 6+ Years Earned Value Analysis Failure Analysis Software design principles
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Senior Staff, Electronics Systems Engineer / Responsible Systems Engineer you will:- Be the technical leader of a small multidisciplinary team of engineers and be responsible for the development, certification, and delivery of custom automated test equipment that tests re-entry vehicle assets which are critical to our nation’s strategic deterrence.
- Be the technical advocate for the complex system designs, and represent them across programmatic, functional, and customer organizations.
- Collaborate across a range of technical and programmatic disciplines to define and lead design, analysis, and test activities within cost and schedule commitments in a dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in a new development, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, in person and remote
- Ability to anticipate, plan, and direct execution of own work and that of the team
- Experience with
o Collaborating with a military customer o Estimating, product schedule development, basis of estimates o Writing, deriving, and verifying requirements o Conducting or supporting development of technical trade studies o Defining architecture from requirements definition o Environmental testing o Aligning team member skill sets to program technical needs o Integrating hardware (e.g. boards, chassis, test racks) o Integrating software onto hardware platforms
- Familiarity with the following:
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- One of the following combined experience and degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or
- Master’s degree with 6 years of experience
WORK HOURS:
- 5/40-1st Shift
ADDITIONAL:
- Must be able and willing to be submitted for and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
