HRR Cash Posting Rep Location West Reading, PA : Responsibilities: The HRR Cash Posting Representative is responsible for processing both manual and electronic payments, adjustments and denials from healthcare and third-party insurance payers, as well as, self-pay payments to patient accounts, using multiple practice management systems for all Tower Health facilities including Reading Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Hospital, Chestnut Hill Hospital, Brandywine Hospital, and Jennersville Hospital. The Cash Posting Representative is also responsible for working a total of 12 Insurance/Patient Pay lockboxes and processes work deposited in 16 different bank accounts. The core responsibilities of a Cash Posting Representative are to accurately and efficiently enter remittance information provided from the insurance carrier, as well as, patient statements. The Cash Posting Representative is responsible for working the undistributed work queues in a timely manner, follow up with insurance providers to obtain additional information for processing payment and reconcile their work on a daily basis. All job functions are required to be completed with a minimal number of errors and are subject to routine quality reviews. The Cash Posting Representative should be familiar with interpreting explanation of benefits. The Cash Posting Representative reports directly to the HRR Cash Posting Supervisor. Position is Full Time on site at Reading Hospital, 7am-3:30pm with an occasional Saturday needed. #READ Qualifications: Education Requirements
