Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) – Independent Contractor (1099)

A growing private practice in Upper St. Clair is seeking a PA-licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to provide outpatient mental health therapy to adults. This role offers a competitive split (65% therapist reimbursement) and full autonomy over your caseload. All marketing, client referrals, billing, and administrative tasks are handled for you.

This position is designed to accommodate people seeking in-person therapy appointments, as well as those seeking video appointments. Commercial insurance is an accepted form of payment here, so insurance credentialing is required (assistance is available). Self-pay options are also available for clients who choose to refrain from using health insurance. Office availability is Mon/Wed/Fri after 3pm, with weekends fully open. There are no scheduling limitations for video clients.

About the Practice

The practice provides in-person and virtual mental health therapy for adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, and relationship stress. Optional opportunities for couples and family work.

Office Location

2555 Washington Rd, Upper St. Clair, PA (Summerfield Commons Business Park)

Ideal Candidate

• PA License is required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Available for at least 11 client-facing hours/week
• Local to the South Hills to accommodate in-person sessions for clients
• Comfortable with both virtual and in-office therapy
• Credentialed with insurance panels or willing to complete credentialing
• Strong documentation and communication skills; EMR familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide ethical, effective psychotherapy to assigned clients
• Complete documentation in a timely manner within the EHR
• Maintain high professional and licensure standards(All referrals, billing, and initial scheduling handled by the practice owner)
