As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding swiftly to situations as they arise. You will also engage with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing issues as they arise in healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the healthcare location.
• Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activity according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide assistance, information, and directions as needed.
• Carry and maintain proper control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Act 235 Qualification is required for roles in Pennsylvania.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
