Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS)
Location: Lehigh Valley, PA
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS) to join a well-established and growing firm in the Lehigh Valley area. This role offers the opportunity to lead surveying projects, work closely with engineers and clients, and play a key role in delivering high-quality land surveying services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
- Review, sign, and seal survey plats, maps, and legal descriptions
- Manage survey projects from initial research through final deliverables
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, engineers, and field crews
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, professional standards, and project requirements
- Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and training to junior survey staff
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive land surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of boundary law, ALTA/NSPS standards, and local regulations
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey processing software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
