POSITION: The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning specified area. They will be responsible for wiping down surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, collecting trash, running the vacuum, and ensure the area is clean when they end their shift.

QUALIFICATIONS: An individual with little or no prior paid work experience. Someone able to work with support of a job coach and grow into becoming independent in his or her tasks within 12 months. Must have lived experience!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Arrives on time and is dressed appropriately.
2. Displays appropriate communication skills with coworkers at all times.
3. Wipes down surfaces with disinfectant in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines.
4. Clean bathrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, stall walls and doors.
5. Runs vacuum on carpeted areas.
6. Clean specific areas following daily checklist to ensure that all areas are cleaned appropriately.
7. Clean foyer areas including interior windows
8. Follows all of Community Counseling Center's policies, respects confidentiality, and exhibits a professional demeanor at all times while at work.
9. Use the MITC time clock at the beginning and end of every shift.
10. In the case of injury inside or outside of the building to any person or property, the appropriate personnel will be notified and an incident report completed and submitted within 24 hours.
11. Meet with job coach weekly to review progress of this paid work experience.
12. Learn all tasks and be able to perform them independently within 6 months of hire.
13. Work with Job Coach after 6 to 12 months of employment to seek other employment outside of CCC.
14. Treat all individuals encountered during work shift with respect and kindness.
15. Must be able to see, hear, speak, read, grasp, walk, sit, climb stairs, and able to lift up to 20 pounds.
16. Any violation of policies, or job duties will be subject to disciplinary action.
17. Performs all duties assigned.
18. Can perform the essential functions of this position with reasonable accommodations, if necessary.
19. Maintains and upholds Community Counseling Center's policies, respects confidentiality, and exhibits a professional demeanor at all times while at work.
20. Any violation of policies and procedures/job duties will be subject to disciplinary action.
21. Performs other duties as assigned.

23. Participates in CCC CQI plan to ensure quality of service to CCC consumers.
