General Purpose
Individuals in this position are responsible for building all special studs
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Read production prints.
- Cut and assemble special studs.
- Drop studs into forms.
- Track number of studs build each day.
- Operate a forklift.
Education
- There are no formal education requirements for this position.
Core Competencies
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must have basic reading and arithmetic skills.
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be working in the plant. Individuals may be exposed to noise, moving machinery, dust, fumes and changing temperatures.
- Job requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, eye protection, hearing protection, work boots, hard hats and gloves.
Physical Demands
- Requires lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Requires use of both feet when operating a forklift.
- Requires the ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift; longer during periods of overtime.
- Requires frequent bending, pushing and pulling.
- Requires the ability to perform simple & firm grasping with both hands.
- Requires frequent twisting, turning, bending or rotating of the waist, neck, head and wrists.
