Provide pharmaceutical expertise in a retail setting to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery to customers. This per diem opportunity is based in Pennsylvania and involves coverage beginning August 7th with first-shift hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing medications accurately under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager
- Counseling and advising patients on their medications and treatment regimens
- Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in alignment with organizational policies
- Maintaining stock levels and managing controlled drug records and inventories
- Resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage questions
Qualifications:
- Clear and active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
- A minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred
Schedule/Hours:
- First shift
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
