About the Role:
Join Ashi Grocery as a Shift Manager and play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage and train staff to deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Coordinate staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Implement promotional displays and merchandising strategies to boost sales.
- Conduct regular store audits to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in financial transactions and cash management at the end of shifts.
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional management training is a plus.
- Passion for the grocery industry and commitment to customer satisfaction.
