Scrum Master

Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA . Candidate must have strong Scrum Master experience to lead Agile ceremonies and ensure effective delivery across teams.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Scrum Master job responsibilities include:

• Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Remove team impediments to ensure smooth sprint progress and timely delivery of commitments.

• Coach the team on Agile principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with product owners to maintain a prioritized and well‑defined product backlog.

• Track, monitor, and communicate sprint progress, team metrics, and delivery risks to stakeholders.

• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high‑performing team environment that aligns with Agile ways of working.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

• 10+ years of professional experience with strong hands‑on Scrum Master expertise.

• Client requires proven ability to lead Agile ceremonies and drive teams using Scrum and modern ways of working.

• Client requires experience in removing impediments, improving delivery processes, and ensuring alignment across cross‑functional teams.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $71.00 per hour
