Field Service Technician

We’re partnering with our client to add a Field Service Technician to their team. This role is hands-on and perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of travel, repair work, and variety in their day. You’ll travel in a company vehicle to customer sites (sometimes overnight, with hotels covered) and perform repairs on equipment like retail carts, ADA scooters, conveyor belts, and cart corrals.

Compensation:

$20–$23/hr (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Location: Middletown, PA

Fluctuating start times | OT as needed | Travel up to 2 weeks per month

**What You’ll Do

**

• Travel to customer locations in a company vehicle

• Repair and maintain retail carts, conveyor belts, ADA scooters, and cart corrals

• Perform tasks including:

  • Bolt tightening & wheel replacement

  • Pressure washing & painting units

  • MIG welding & light structural repair

  • Wiring repairs on ADA scooters

  • Assembly/disassembly of conveyor belts

• Use provided tools, apps, and a tablet/computer to track work (paperless environment)

• Work independently or with a helper, depending on assignment

**Requirements

**

• **Driving (per insurance/DOT policy):

  **

  • Must be

    **at least 23 years old

    ** (required by insurance/DOT guidelines)

  • Valid driver’s license from the state of operation (no out-of-state licenses)

  • Clean driving record for the last 3 years

  • Leads must enroll in the DOT National Driver program

• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly

• Must pass: UA (including THC), DOT physical, and background check

• Comfortable with fluctuating start times & willing to work OT as needed

• Able to travel out of state for up to 2 weeks at a time

• Maintenance experience & power tool use required

• Previous lead experience preferred

• Labor-intensive work environment: indoors and outdoors

• Willing to work under DOT federal guidelines

• Tech-savvy: must be able to use apps and navigate a paperless system
