Accts Receivable Clerk
JOB SUMMARY
The primary role of this position is to manage cash receipts received and apply to appropriate customer account and detailed open balances.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Manage cash receipts received and apply to customer account as indicated by customer remittance
- Deposit funds to corporate bank account via remote deposit and/or in person deposit
- Manage over and under payments on accounts
- Release orders for shipment
- Provide support to customers for remittance including copies of invoices, PODs, short pay notices
- Filing as needed, both electronically and paper
- Provide coverage of duties for team members on leave
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in office environment
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), basic skill level
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills; verbal, written, and oral
