Overview

Cardinal O’Hara High School is seeking a mature and upbeat professional who will support our staff, faculty, students, and families. The highly ethical and experienced team-player should possess a strong sense of integrity and desire to support all of the efforts of the Admissions Department.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Admissions & Enrollment, this person will be responsible for providing high-end customer service to the entire school community. This is a part-time, 10-month position.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare potential student applications, as well as, secure applicable academic and behavioral records.

• Provide administrative support in the Admissions Department, which would include communications assistance, filing, and record-keeping.

• Help organize and arrange student shadow days and tours.

• Assist in the planning and execution of admissions and enrollment events.

• Responsible for being knowledgeable and to implement the mission of Cardinal O’Hara HS.

• Maintain a good working relationship with Administration, Faculty, and Staff, as well as, the current and future students and families of Cardinal O’Hara HS.

• Help to maintain the integrity and appearance of the Admissions Department.

• Stay up-to-date on current school happenings and the school calendar in order to answer any questions that might arise, and to share the appropriate information when needed.

• Interacts and participates in the school community by attending games, shows, and other school events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.

• Ability to work productively and positively with many different groups.

• Must be flexible and able to handle constant interruptions, and be open to helping other offices as needed.

• Knowledge of Cardinal O’Hara High School’s history and mission.

• Duties are representative and not limited to those stated above.
