POSITION SUMMARY

As a Lead Host , you have a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for leading the service team through all guest interactions at the door and creating memorable guest experiences.

About This Role

The Lead Host is responsible for providing warm hospitality to guests, managing reservations and maximizing walk-in diners, helping to facilitate the flow of service throughout the night, and maintaining a general command. The Lead Host will work to provide impeccable hospitality to each of our guests, working specifically with each individual need to curate the best experience possible.

Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greets guests and directs them to tables
• Takes walk in reservations, figuring out the best way to seat guests
• Sends walk ins to the bar or maintains a waitlist when necessary
• Constantly communicates table status with guests
• Coordinates large party reservations, private dining requests, or special circumstances with management

What You Bring

• Minimum of 2+ years’ Lead Host experience in a high-volume restaurant
• A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional hospitality service
• A strong working knowledge of SevenRooms reservations software
• Flexible work schedules: the ability to work night, weekends, holidays, as business permits
• The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 30lbs
• Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
