Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel contract job in Pittsburgh, PA. This 13-week assignment is based at a reputable hospital and offers 40 hours per week, covering evening and night shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced RT who thrives in a fast-paced, acute care setting. Specific days and shift times will be discussed during the interview.

Job Details

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

• Setting: Hospital

• Discipline: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

• Shift: 5x8s | Evenings and nights | Specific days and hours to be confirmed during interview

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapies including oxygen, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management

• Respond to codes, rapid responses, and emergency respiratory needs

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams in critical care and general units

• Accurately chart interventions and assess treatment effectiveness

Qualifications

• Required: RRT or CRT credential from NBRC and BLS (AHA)

• License: Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner license, or willingness to obtain

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital-based respiratory care role, including overnight or high-acuity shifts
