This role needs the resource to be in client office 3 days a week in Malvern office, PA .
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Design: Architect, design, and develop scalable mainframe solutions, leading code reviews and technical documentation.
Development & Maintenance: Expert-level coding in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS
System Performance & Support: Monitor system performance, optimize resources, manage batch jobs, and resolve complex production incidents.
Project Delivery & Agile: Guide Agile teams, manage project scope/schedules, and liaise with stakeholders for requirements.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, REXX, and debugging tools like Xpediter or File-Aid.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development, including at least 1-2 years in a lead role.
Domain Knowledge: Investment and RetirementWill any work be done by the contractor outside of the United States? If yes, please explain.
