Carpenter/laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking to hire qualified candidates to our dynamic team ASAP! We are a locally owned and operated building contractor with 20+ years experience on the job. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be comfortable working on construction sites, mostly small residential projects. This role involves both independent and collaborative work, contributing to various projects including cabinet installation, remodeling, and roofing. We offer a competitive pay based on experience, work ethic and willingness to learn .* Most jobs sites are located within a 10 mile radius of our office location in Oil City, PA. Drivers license/clean driving record is highly preferred*.

Work hours may vary depending on the jobs we have lined up , there is a possibility of overtime available on some job sites. Employees are paid by direct deposit weekly.

Must be able to lift 50+lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Duties

• Participate in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client specifications.
• Assist in siding installation and repairs to enhance building exteriors.
• Perform maintenance person duties as needed, addressing a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Operate machinery for projects when required.
• Work on roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with masonry teams on brickwork and stone installations as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Skills

• Knowledge of remodeling processes and best practices within the construction industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot various issues quickly and effectively.
• Experience with siding materials and installation methods.
• Experience operating machinery is a plus.
• Competence in multiple techniques for both residential and commercial projects
• Basic understanding of roofing systems and installation procedures.
• Basic masonry skills for working with bricks, blocks, or stones is desirable.
• Excellent teamwork abilities along with strong communication skills are a must have!
