Psychiatric Technician
Full Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health team at Bentworth High School and Middle School. This is a full-time opportunity providing direct support to students during their school day.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s level internship/practicum opportunities also available
- Child abuse clearance, criminal background check, and FBI clearances
Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health services including individual and group therapy sessions for students
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and treatment
- Collaborate with fellow psychiatric technicians and supervising physician to meet client needs
- Communicate effectively with school staff while advocating for students
- Connect students with resources to help them achieve personal goals
Additional Details:
- No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
- Clinical supervision available for LCSW and LPC (no contract requirement)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $20.44 per hour
