EMT or AEMT (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Foxwall EMS in Fox Chapel, PA is hiring EMTs and AEMTs. Foxwall EMS provides 9-1-1 response to the boroughs of Fox Chapel and Aspinwall, as well as a dedicated BLS non-emergency transport line.

EMTs and AEMTs work 911 and non-emergency transport, with full-time employees expected to work one 12-hour transport shift weekly. A full-time transport schedule is available if preferred. Productivity bonuses are offered for transport shifts.

Foxwall staff benefit from progressive medical direction and excellent equipment, including Stryker powercot and powerload system, Lucas device, and a Lifepack 35!

9-1-1 call volume averages 3 calls per 24-hour period.

The first-due district is residential with a small business corridor, wooded trails and parks, and a stretch of highway. The station is adjacent to a park and crews enjoy separate bunk rooms and access to free laundry facilities while on shift.

We are looking for a full-time or part-time EMT or AEMT 12-40 hours per week.

8, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts are available.

Full time requires 32-40 hours weekly.
Part time requires 12 hours monthly minimum.

EMT rates start at $18.50/hour with prorated credit for experience and education, including college degrees.

AEMT rates start at $20.50/hour with prorated credit for experience and education, including EMT or AEMT experience and college degrees.

Requirements:
-Six (6) months experience as an EMT
-Functional ability to perform the role of EMT or AEMT.
-Progressive clinical approach and positive attitude.
-PA EMT or AEMT certification with EMSVO endorsement.
-BLS/CPR
-Ability to obtain UPMC Command. (AEMT)
-PHTLS or ITLS (AEMT) by the end of 2026
-Background checks
