Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant Education seeks a dependable Special Education Substitute Teacher for full-time, year-long coverage near Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA for the 20252026 school year.
Role Overview:
Hours: M-F, 7:30 AM3:30 PM
Assignment: Floating building substitute providing coverage in both SPED and general education classrooms
Employment: Full school year, onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Cover multiple classrooms on an as-needed basis
Deliver planned instruction and support diverse learners
Maintain classroom routines and behavior management
municate effectively with school staff to ensure smooth transitions
Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied student needs
Qualifications:
Prior experience or fort working with special education students preferred
Strong classroom management skills
Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Must be present onsite during school hours
