What You'll Do as a Parts Specialist & Inventory Coordinator
- Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in and phone customers, assisting with parts inquiries, orders, and product recommendations.
- Process customer orders, invoices, payments, purchase orders, and inventory transactions while maintaining accurate inventory management and inventory control records.
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory management activities to ensure products are available when customers and service teams need them.
- Support service technicians and installation crews by preparing parts, tracking materials, and helping ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities using carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Use warehouse equipment to move inventory and materials.
- Maintain organized inventory records and assist with inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, and product tracking.
- Collaborate with service and installation teams to track returned materials, communicate inventory needs, and support project success.
Our Ideal Parts Specialist & Inventory Coordinator
- Experienced: Brings at least 2 years of experience working with equipment, parts, service operations, inventory management, maintenance, automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial operations, or agricultural equipment.
- Customer-Focused: Builds positive relationships with customers and coworkers by providing friendly, professional, and responsive service.
- Accountable: Takes ownership of responsibilities, follows through on commitments, and approaches challenges with integrity and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Organized: Maintains accurate inventory records, utilizes basic computer skills effectively, manages multiple priorities, and keeps workspaces clean and orderly.
- Dependable: Shows up ready to work, follows established processes, and is capable of lifting up to 50 pounds while working on concrete floors, standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the warehouse and parts department as needed.
