Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Product Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to define and drive the product vision and roadmap by deeply understanding customer challenges and creating innovative, outcome-driven solutions that deliver value, differentiate from competition, and drive business growth.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Align cross-functional teams to ensure products delight customers and serve strategic goals of SAP. Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer problems, market trends, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with Product Marketing to communicate the product vision, its customer value, and future impact to customers, partners, and analysts. Address stakeholder needs by crafting solutions that maximize customer value while achieving business goals of SAP. Develop a comprehensive view of the Total Addressable Market (TAM), competitors, technological innovations, and ecosystem trends through partnership with Product Marketing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are optimized for growth, aligned with customer needs, uniquely differentiated, and effectively positioned for Go-To-Market success. 

 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:

• Making data-driven strategic decisions to guide product direction; and
• Software product development in SAP Cloud Technologies.

Experience must also involve two (2) years in the following:

• Managing complex workflows and supply chains for cell and gene therapies, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency;
• Integrating systems and automating workflows to streamline data exchange and batch release processes in life sciences;
• SAP Life Science products, including Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM), Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration (CGTO), Integration Hub for Life Science (IHLS), and Batch Release Hub (BRH); and
• Product development for Life Science industry.

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for client meetings, workshops, and events.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $213,824 - $306,844. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $220,200 - $374,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
