Job Description:
Millerstown Veterinary Associates is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in patient care, diagnostics, anesthesia, and client support while working closely with our veterinarians in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
· Perform and assist with digital radiographs
· Draw blood samples and run in-house laboratory tests
· Conduct technician appointments, including patient assessments and client education
· Administer and monitor anesthesia for surgical procedures
· Place and maintain intravenous catheters
· Monitor, treat, and provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
· Accurately record patient information and treatment details
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications:
· Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT)
· Strong technical, organizational, and multitasking skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers
· Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to high-quality patient care
Salary:
