Entry-Level Motorcycle Suspension Technician
Position: Full-Time

As the leading WP Authorized Service Center and full-line KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas dealership, we support riders across North America with premium suspension solutions for off-road, dual sport, adventure, supermoto, flat track, and street applications. Our suspension department is equipped with industry-leading technology, including a CTW LA-48 Suspension Dyno, dedicated clean-room-style assembly areas, precision measuring equipment, specialty tooling, and factory-level technical resources. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Suspension Technician who is mechanically inclined, takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn the specialized skills required to service and build high-performance motorcycle suspension. What You’ll Do As an Entry-Level Suspension Technician, you’ll work alongside our experienced suspension technicians and progressively develop the skills necessary to service, repair, and eventually build and tune premium motorcycle suspension systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with the removal and installation of motorcycle suspension components.
- Perform suspension component disassembly and cleaning according to Solid Performance procedures.
- Properly clean, organize, and stage suspension components for assembly.
- Assist senior technicians with parts requests.
- Learn proper use of specialty suspension tools and equipment.
- Perform basic measurements using precision measuring equipment as training progresses.
- Accurately document work performed, measurements, parts used, and service requirements.
- Follow established service procedures, specifications, and quality-control processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Properly maintain and care for shop equipment and specialty tooling.
- Learn to identify common suspension components, wear items, and service requirements.
- Assist senior technicians.
- Occasionally assist with manufacturer events, race support, demo rides, suspension testing, and technical customer support.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous mechanical, motorcycle, automotive, powersports, or technical experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and manufacturer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to accurately document work and maintain organized work orders.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a professional shop environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently when assigned tasks while also working effectively as part of a team.
- Previous motorcycle, powersports, automotive, bicycle, or mechanical shop experience.
- Experience working with motorcycle suspension.
- Familiarity with KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, or WP suspension products.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Personal professional-grade tool collection.
- Advanced suspension experience is not required. The right candidate will receive hands-on training and progressively take on more advanced responsibilities as their skills and proficiency develop.
