Work Location: Must reside within 30 minutes of our Philadelphia office location: 3450 Salmon Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134
Schedule: Part-Time, two days per week (Thursday, Friday or Sunday, Monday (24-hour shifts) plus every other Saturday (12-hour shift). On-call availability required.

How You Will Be Rewarded as an On-Call Driver

• Compensation: Competitive pay, $26 per hour. $2 overnight shift differential
• Benefits: Medical (Cigna), Dental, Vision, 401k (5% match w/immediate vesting), HSA & FSA, and employer paid Life & AD&D benefits
• PTO: Generous paid time off and holiday pay

Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver

• Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment
• Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
• Adhere to all traffic laws and TAM operational procedures
• Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks
• Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
• Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision
• 5 24-hour on-call shift availability

Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Valid driver's license with a clean 39-month driving record
• EVOC Certification required
• 2+ years of driving experience
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Experience in medical transport, logistics, or professional driving a plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
• Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts
