The Dog Daycare Manager oversees the daily operations of a busy dog daycare/boarding facility, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for dogs and clients. This role includes direct involvement in animal care, staff supervision, and client relations. Managing a team of 6-10 employees, the manager coordinates, maintains facility standards, and handles sales/marketing efforts while utilizing commercial pet care software (gingr) to streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of 6-10 employees
- Manage client relations and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Oversee daily animal care with hands-on involvement
- Maintain facility operations and ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate scheduling/booking using commercial pet care software (gingr)
- Control inventory and supplies for smooth functioning
- Assist in Development and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients
Required Qualifications
- Experience in animal care with a focus on dogs
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven team leadership abilities
- Conflict resolution expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in pet care management
- High school diploma or equivalent
